It is illegal to murder someone in the United States of America (unless it is self-defense) and the same is true in most countries around the world. On the other hand, most "developed" countries in the world allow legalized abortions. We can't kill someone in America unless it's self-defense, but it is legal to kill a defenseless baby? We can't legally kill a lot of animals, but we can kill an innocent baby? This makes no sense to me.
On the Kings X album "Faith Hope Love" in 1990 they had a song called "Legal Kill". It is an anti-abortion song that has very powerful lyrics. The line in the song that really gets to me is this: "The smell of Hell is what I smell and you hand it out with handshakes every day." I think of Planned Parenthood and abortion clinic doctors and workers every time I hear these words.

I have an old high school friend that recently told me that I'm coming off as a Jesus freak on facebook. I think my friend is genuinely concerned for me and I think he warned me because he really cares. I thank him for his concern.
But I'm alright with coming off as a Jesus Freak. In fact, I bought a T-shirt about four years ago that says on the front: Yes, I am a ... and on the back it says: Jesus freak. The reason I bought the shirt is because I thought I was saved at 11 years old, but from reading the Bible at age 44 I realized that I wasn't really saved. God showed me through His Word that I was an unregenerate sinner and that I was on the road to Hell. I can assure you that as a person who thought they had been saved ... >> full

I don't know about you, but I love to eat and it's really something to eat at a nice buffet. All the choices of meat, various potatoes and other side dishes and then desert. I usually over eat at buffets, but it is really exciting to see all of the different choices.
Buffets are fine when it comes to dining out, but it isn't wise when it comes to religion. I am amazed at the number of people I talk to who seem to take some things that they consider good from Christianity, some things from Buddhism and so forth. Some people think that it's alright to choose their religious beliefs the same way they chose their food at the buffet line.
The Bible is very clear that picking and choosing like that is plain wrong. Just like you can't pick and choose parts of the Bible you want to believe, you ... >> full

Five of us went to the Rodney Carrington concert at the Shrine Mosque in Springfield, MO to witness the other night. I was there with Brad with Repent and Turn Ministries and Greg, Bruce and Brandon with Born of Him Ministries. This was Brandon's first time to come out with us (he has been involved with evangelism in the past, but not with street evangelism).
The evening started out slow, so Brandon and I walked up the street to the Expo Center where they were holding a survivalist conference. We were witnessing there, handing out tracts and getting into a some one to one conversations. Brad, Greg and Bruce were doing the same thing at the Shrine Mosque. Greg came up and got us and said that a crowd was starting to gather outside the concert.
Brandon and I went back and joined our friends. We were handing out tracts and a young man ... >> full
